「主語 + be動詞 + under ～」で「～の下に（主語）があります、～の下に（主語）がいます」という表現ができます。
この文の主語には、人名・地名のような固有名詞、また the や my・your などのついた特定の物事や人がきます。「Kenji is under the tree.(健二は木の下にいる。)」や「My bag is under the table.(私のカバンはテーブルの下にある。)」などです。
不特定の物事・人について「Two men are under the stage.」や「A bag is under the table.」のようにいうと不自然な英語になるので、その場合は「主語 + be動詞 + under ～」の形ではなく、「There is ～」や「There are ～」を使うのが普通です。
My sons are under the tree.
