at は最もよく使う前置詞の1つです。基本的な訳し方は「～に」です。
場所を表して「～に」「～で」という場合、at は in との使い分けに苦労する前置詞でもあります。at は一地点、in は空間的広がりに使うというイメージです。
また、時を表して「～に」という場合は at と in と on の3つの前置詞を使い分けなければいけません。時刻など、時の一点と感じるものには at を、日付には on を、月、年、季節などの広がりを感じるものには in を使います。
at はほかにも「～を目がけて」「～を聞いて、見て」「（数値が）～で」「（状態が）～で」など、様々な場面で目にする前置詞です。
I met him at the corner of the street.
私は街角で彼に会った。
She's at the top of her class.
彼女はクラスのトップです。
I sat at the left of Meg.
私はメグの左側に座った。
