next は「次の～」という意味の形容詞です。
next Monday(今度の月曜日)や next year(来年)ように、時間的なことを表す場合が多いのですが、next test(次回のテスト)のような形でも使えます。
He'll be back next week.
彼は来週、戻ってくるでしょう。
I'll go there next Thursday.
私は今度の木曜日にそこへ行きます。
Be sure to catch the next train.
次の列車に必ず乗りなさい。
Turn left just after the next bus stop.
次のバス停を過ぎたところで、すぐ左折しなさい。
We agreed on a date for our next meeting.
我々は次の会合の日取りを決めた。
